Job summary

Capstone Logistics, LLC in Selma, NC is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate with vendors and customers to ensure timely deliveries. The role reports to the Terminal Manager and operates Monday through Friday starting at 6am.

You will schedule and dispatch vendors, manage PODs and manifests, communicate route changes, and support customer service during peak periods. A high-performance culture and growth opportunities are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch vendors or independent contractors to locations according to customer requests, using radios, phones and dispatch software; communicate data to vendors at dispatch time.
• Receive, input, and distribute On Demand work orders and PODs; prepare reports.
• Serve as a contact for Vendor/ICs; inform them about traffic hazards and route changes.
