Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is hiring to prepare production and transportation schedules, coordinate deliveries and verify loads to meet customers' requirements.

You will approve haulers, manage deliveries, and ensure compliance with legal/regulatory standards while supporting procurement and inventory objectives. This role is for an organized professional in Illinois with logistics experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in the field or related area; 1 year preferred.
• Knowledge of crane truck capabilities and jobsite deliveries.
• Organized, self-starter with a detail oriented mindset.
• Some mechanical experience with vehicles and trucks.
• Knowledge of local geography and roads to estimate travel times.
• Strong problem solving and analytical ability; negotiate with vendors on prices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication at a supervisory level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good attendance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Approve and manage all outside haulers.
• Prepare delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with loading crew for the next day deliveries.
• Verify product inventory levels.
• Compliance with all legal and regulatory agencies.
• Handle purchasing for plant and offices; ensure quality and best prices.
• Review past orders to determine replenishment and negotiate prices.
• Other duties as assigned.
