Job summary

Stevens Transport INC. is seeking a National Logistics Account Manager to ensure truckload coverage for customer-awarded freight and to grow dedicated opportunities across North America.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and collaborate with internal teams to optimize capacity and service levels. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in business development, sales, or transportation operations, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage high-volume

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or transportation operations.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions.
• Ability to handle high volumes of inbound/outbound email and understanding capacity and network.
• Extremely organized and communicative multiple stop deliveries.
• Ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Be the single point of contact for assigned customers and build relationships.
• Work with internal departments to balance capacity and freight including analysts.
• Solicit additional freight opportunities that reduce empty miles.
• Research and remedy service issues daily.
• Track and trace shipments and maintain on-time performance of 95% or better.
• Relay excess load availability to Brokerage and Rail divisions.
• Review EDI data for accuracy before releasing verifications to customers.
• Oversee internal activities that impact service obligations.
• Maintain key carrier performance indicators.
• Navigate customer requests including last-minute changes within supply chain timelines.
• Manage bookings and resolve delays, billing, etc.
