Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to learn and operate various computer systems
• Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and Penske associates
• Flexibility to work First, Second and Third shifts as needed
• Willingness to travel as necessary and pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Load-building: add shipments to loads, rate, secure carrier coverage and set appointments.
• Provide excellent Customer Service to assigned accounts
• Manage call center and shared email box responsibilities
• Provide visibility by tracking shipments and auditing operations
• Recover customer loads
• Complete daily logs and trackers; relay instructions to other shifts
• Perform other projects as assigned by supervisor
