Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred
• 1+ year of Transportation/Supply Chain experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and sense of urgency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn and operate various computer systems across platforms
• Ability to build professional relationships with customers and Penske associates
• Ability to think critically, analyze information, and follow SOPs while problem-solving
• Willingness to work First, Second and Third shifts with flexible scheduling
• Regular, predictable attendance required
• Willingness to travel as necessary and pass background check/drug screening

Responsibilities

• Load building: add shipments to a load, rate, secure carrier coverage, and set appointments; monitor MCP emails; identify opportunities for improved performance.
• Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts.
• Manage call center and shared email box.
• Provide shipment visibility by tracking, auditing, and resolving issues.
• Recover customer loads.
• Complete daily logs and provide cross-shift instructions by phone and email.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
