Job summary

Chevron Corp. is seeking an experienced Legal Analyst to provide paralegal and legal operations support to the SI&IL team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on complex litigation, discovery management, and coordination with business partners and outside counsel.

The position also covers legal operations, budgeting, and reporting, with an emphasis on process improvement and timely delivery of high-stakes results. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and paralegal experience in corporate litigation.
• Experience supporting complex litigation, discovery, and case management.
• Strong organizational, analytical, proofreading, editing, and research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate with internal/external teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support for complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation across federal/state courts.
• Support discovery, preservation, data collection, review and production.
• Coordinate outside counsel onboarding, budgets, timelines, and invoicing.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations for SI&IL leadership.
• Maintain matter and financial records; support budgeting and vendor management.
