Allina Health is seeking a Library and Patient Education Services Leader to guide strategy and supervise a professional team, developing, curating, and locating evidence-based information to support patient care. The role aligns resources, services, and tools with stakeholder needs to advance the system’s mission.

You will manage operations, budgets, contracts with vendors, and staff development, while ensuring access via EPIC, SharePoint, and the learning management system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Library, Information Science, Health Education, or related field required.
• 5+ years working experience with evidence-based practice and adult education.
• 5+ years experience managing people and leading cross-functional projects/teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads the strategy and vision for Library and Patient Education services and supervises a team of professionals.
• Aligns resources, services, and tools to stakeholder needs to support Allina Health’s mission.
• Manages operations, budget, and vendor contracts; ensures access via EPIC, SharePoint, and the learning management system.
• Provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development for staff.
