Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a pharmacist to provide comprehensive medication management and collaborate with primary care providers and care teams to optimize patient care. You will educate patients and mentors colleagues while contributing to safety and quality improvement initiatives.

This role is 1.0 FTE in the Minneapolis area, with 8-hour day shifts, no weekends, and travel for home visits with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Doctoral/Ph.D. level degree in Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Postgraduate year 2 residency experience or similar experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinates improvement and quality opportunities.
• Mentors and promotes the role of staff pharmacists.
• Evaluates medication use and conducts drug formulary reviews.
• Coordinates resident and student education.
• Monitors patient and employee safety and educates patients.
• May lead specialty practice areas and provides expert clinical consultation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

Doctoral/PhD in Pharmacy (PharmD)

Postgraduate year 2 residency experience
