Allina Health invites applications for the role of Manager Library Services and Patient Education. The position leads strategy and a team delivering evidence-based information and patient education, aligning resources to stakeholder needs while supporting the mission of Allina Health.

Hybrid with some hours at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, United Hospital or Allina Commons. The role requires a 8-hour day shift, 40 hours per week, and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Library, Information Science, Health Education, or related field.
• 5+ years working experience with evidence-based practice and adult education.
• 5+ years experience managing people, leading projects/programs and teams across departments/ divisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations management for Library Services and Patient Education; manage budget and vendor contracts.
• Oversee development and maintenance of web/intranet presence and outreach communications.
• Manage resources including databases, e-journals, and educational content; ensure access and integration.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Library, Information Science, Health Education, or related field

Master’s degree in Library, Information Science, Health Education, or related field
