Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and license to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 7+ years' experience, ideally with a mix of in-house and top-tier law firm work.
• Significant experience in intellectual property laws and evolving regulation of AI across jurisdictions, and in negotiating and supporting technology transactions.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and internal/external clients.
• Experience advising in fast-paced environments and presenting to executive leadership with practical guidance.
• Ability to lead special projects and coordinate with other attorneys to achieve ADI goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication and executive presence; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key business partner to designated organizations to identify and mitigate legal risk across contracts, IP, licensing, research, procurement, employment, and compliance.
• Provide actionable, strategic legal advice for risk-based decision making and for leadership.
• Support negotiations with customers and partners focusing on semiconductor, hardware, software, AI, and data.
• Lead special projects and coordinate with attorneys and clients to achieve ADI goals.
• Interpret laws and regulations; keep leadership informed of regulatory and risk topics impacting the organizations.
