Job summary

Gen Digital Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Corporate Counsel, Product & Commercial to partner with product, engineering, UX, marketing and sales.

You’ll provide practical legal guidance across the product lifecycle—from ideation and design to launch and ongoing customer experience. You’ll handle commercial contracts, strategic partnerships, and risk management, and help improve contracting processes with AI-enabled tools, while ensuring compliance and clear, business-driven advice for

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar (Arizona or California preferred).
• Substantial experience assessing commercial contracts, marketing laws, and consumer protections.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal advisor to product, UX, engineering and marketing teams on product design, feature development and customer experience.
• Draft, review and negotiate standard and bespoke contracts across sales and partner channels.
• Provide guidance on data and technology issues in collaboration with Privacy and Security teams.
• Develop templates, policies and procedures, including AI-enabled processes, to scale legal support.
