Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in processing legal documents, financial transactions, or banking operations preferred.
• Proficient with computer systems and software applications.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with teammates, bank management, customers, attorneys, courts, and government agencies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain high accuracy.
• Ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced legal operations environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to research and interpret legal documents and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of diverse legal documents and orders accurately and timely in accordance with regulations.
• Review and interpret legal documentation, court orders, and government correspondence; conduct necessary legal research to ensure compliance.
• Communicate professionally with external parties including courts, law firms, government agencies, and financial institutions.
• Research account information, process holds/releases, coordinate payments and processing fees, and prepare documentation.
• Identify and elevate complex or potentially problematic legal matters to management; flag compliance concerns.
• Track, log, and maintain organized records of all directives and responses for audit trails.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and timely in a high-volume setting while maintaining standards.
• Assist with unclaimed property and escheatment compliance and state regulatory reporting.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to legal operations workflows.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
• Other tasks as assigned.
