Job summary

DLC Management Corp. in Washington, DC, seeks a Leasing Renewals Manager to drive rent growth and manage tenant renewals across its open-air retail portfolio.

You will lead renewal negotiations, analyze expiring leases, and coordinate with Accounting to optimize renewal economics. You will build strong relationships with national and regional retailers, prioritize opportunities by timelines and market conditions, and support due diligence and portfolio reviews as part of strategic leasing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; real estate or business field preferred.
• 1–5 years of leasing experience with a shopping center owner, retailer, CRE firm, or brokerage.
• Working knowledge of LOIs, lease negotiations, and lease terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate renewals that drive rent growth and tenant retention across the portfolio.
• Analyze expiring leases, tenant performance, and renewal provisions to shape strategies.
• Maintain a database of lease expirations, notices, and milestones.
• Collaborate with Accounting to review expense recoveries during renewals.
• Coordinate with Leasing to align renewal strategies with portfolio goals.
• Develop relationships with national and regional retailers and support portfolio reviews.
