Job summary

DLC Management Corp. is seeking a Leasing Representative to develop and execute a strategic leasing plan for a portfolio of properties. You will identify prospective tenants, build relationships with local and national retailers, and draft proposals for new leases or renewals.

You will play a key role in budgeting and in developing leasing/marketing strategies to hit or exceed targets, while leveraging market knowledge to push deals quickly from LOI to grand opening.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of leasing experience.
• Knowledge of retail leasing process and basic LOI/Lease terminology preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective tenants for shopping centers through cold calling and canvassing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with retailers and brokers; attend ICSC events.
• Draft and negotiate proposals for new leases and renewals.
• Contribute to annual leasing budgets for assigned properties.
• Develop and implement Leasing/Marketing strategies to meet budget projections.
• Be the market expert for assigned properties and driving deals from LOI to opening.
