Job summary

University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) is seeking a Learning & Development professional to design, implement, and oversee non-clinical training programs and manage the LMS and performance evaluation systems. Collaboration with leaders will identify training needs and ensure programs align with organizational goals.

The role emphasizes instructional design, curriculum development, and the management of multiple training initiatives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree and three years in learning and development, instructional design, education, or training facilitation.
• Experience administering an LMS/Performance Management system is preferred.
• Curriculum development, instructional design, and managing multiple training initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with multiple design modalities (e-learning, classroom, virtual, gamification).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate non-clinical training programs aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee the UMC LMS, performance evaluation system, and succession planning program.
• Create and analyze reports related to training, performance evaluations, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify training needs and develop educational programs.
