Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Learning & Development professional to partner with business leaders, design impactful learning solutions, and drive cross-functional initiatives.

You will conduct needs analyses, measure effectiveness, manage small- to medium-sized projects, and coordinate vendors, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications include a BA/BS in a learning discipline, 5+ years in L&D and project management, and experience with ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business, education, instructional design, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
• 3+ years in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or Human Performance Improvement
• Experience leading cross-functional learning initiatives
• Ability to manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations
• Experience defining project objectives, success metrics, deliverables and resource requirements with business leaders
• Consulting and relationship management skills
• Experience developing and delivering instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, and self-paced learning solutions
• Working knowledge of adult learning theory
• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE or SAM
• Knowledge of learning evaluation models such as Kirkpatrick
• Experience managing external vendors, consultants, and contract resources
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide change management or organizational transformation initiatives preferred
• Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or other highly regulated industries preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to design impactful learning solutions
• Conduct needs analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions
• Lead Learning & Development initiatives involving multiple associates
• Manage small- to medium-sized projects, markets, or initiatives
• Partner on clients on project charters, scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budgets, and timing
• Track and report project milestones
• Manage project scope and ensure changes are documented and approved
• Determine whether external consultants or contractors are needed
• Assist in recruiting and managing vendor resources
• Apply human performance improvement principles to improve business performance
• Consult with business unit management and Learning & Development management
• Conduct training or develop instructional and reference content as needed
• Develop working relationships with internal and external team members
