Job summary

Instructure, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Learning Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This role partners with sponsors, leaders and staff to drive change, optimize use of Canvas, Canvas Career and Impact, and align learning strategies with organizational goals.

You will design training, develop resources, and coach educators to elevate learner engagement while traveling to client sites as needed. A strong background in teaching, leadership and instructional technology is essential.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of teaching or consulting experience in a digital learning environment.
• At least two years of Canvas experience, plus familiarity with other Instructure tools (Studio, Catalog, Credentials, Impact).
• Experience in educational leadership overseeing teams supporting LMS use is preferred.
• Proven change leadership, relationship-building and professional development skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design communication, training and engagement plans.
• Act as an agent of change to implement the organization’s vision for Instructure products.
• Use data to analyze challenges, apply strategies and improve teaching/learning outcomes.
• Mentor leaders, faculty and staff on Instructure products such as Canvas, Canvas Career & Impact.
• Develop adoption resources, model courses and other deliverables for the customer.
• Plan, schedule and run product training and consulting sessions.
• Link product usage to instructional best practices for learners.
• Follow up post-consulting to monitor progress and success.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance product usage across the organization.
• Prepare engaging help documents and course materials for the organization.
• Travel to client sites as needed to support rollout of Instructure products.
