Job summary

ABB in the United States is seeking a Senior Leader to support the Country Trade Compliance Officer and drive the U.S. Trade Compliance Program across import/export, sanctions, and customs.

You will lead strategic initiatives, governance, and risk management while partnering with LTCOs and business teams to ensure regulatory adherence. You will guide program excellence, promote continuous improvement, and enable compliant operations in a remote U.S.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in supply chain and/or trade management (preferred) with 10+ years of experience in managing U.S. trade compliance programs.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain and/or trade management (preferred) with 12+ years of experience in U.S. trade compliance.
• Customs Broker License (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs, BIS, EAR, OFAC, and ITAR regulations.
• Ability to work remotely within a Country team in a complex, decentralized organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the U.S. Trade Compliance Program strategy.
• Collaborate with LTCOs and business functions to integrate compliance into operations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate trade compliance risks.
• Manage Annual Trade Review Program and Global Trade Risk Assessments.
• Support regulatory engagement with U.S. government agencies.
