Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Reactor Vessel Internals Replacement Engineering group within the Reactor Component Engineering department. You will supervise engineers, guide design and analysis of major reactor vessel internals modifications, and support outage activities.

This hybrid role requires onsite presence two days per week and reports to the Director, with a focus on safety, quality, and cross-functional collaboration to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, materials, nuclear engineering, or related field.
• Typically 12 years of progressive engineering and/or leadership experience.
• Gather input, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions.
• Leadership competency and proven experience.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, including performance management, career development, and hiring.
• Manage work planning, prioritization, and resource management across departments for multiple projects.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of engineering work products per internal quality processes and industry standards.
• Mentor team members to improve capability and technical proficiency.
• Provide management-level technical oversight for design and analysis of modifications and replacement reactor vessel internals.
• Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and a safety and quality culture.
• Coordinate emergent response to customer issues within responsibilities.
