Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Reactor Vessel Internals Replacement Engineering group within Reactor Component Engineering at its Cranberry Township HQ. The role covers design, analysis, and outage support for reactor internals, with hybrid work and two onsite days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, materials, nuclear engineering or related discipline.
• Typically 12 years of progressively responsible engineering and/or leadership experience.
• Gather and analyze input, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions.
• Leadership competency and existing leadership experience.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, including performance management, career development, and hiring.
• Manage work planning, prioritization, and resource management across supporting departments for multiple projects.
• Ensure, high-quality delivery of engineering work products according to internal quality processes and industry standards.
• Mentor team members to improve overall team capability and technical proficiency.
• Provide management-level technical oversight for design and analysis of modifications and replacement reactor vessel internals.
• Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and a safety and quality culture.
• Coordinate emergent response to customer issues for your responsibilities.
