Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the Reactor Vessel Internals Team in Cranberry Township, PA. The role provides technical support for reactor vessel internals design and analysis in a hybrid work setting.

The position reports to the Manager, Reactor Vessel Internals Component Design and requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 0+ years of experience. FE exam is preferred, and strong technical writing and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or recognized equivalent.
• 0+ years of experience.
• We prefer completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical calculations and evaluations using engineering tools; develop documentation.
• Develop design documentation for hardware, including drawings, specs, and qualification reports.
• Coordinate activities with technical leads, project managers, and customers.
• Occasionally travel to customer and vendor sites to provide on-site support and issue resolution.
