Job summary

Humana is seeking an Associate Vice President of Procurement Center of Excellence to lead enterprise capabilities powering Procurement performance. The AVP will own the technology portfolio, end-to-end process strategy, governance, analytics and M&A enablement across sourcing, contracting and supplier management.

The role will establish a multi-year roadmap across technology, data, AI and organizational capability, partnering with Finance, Legal, Risk and business teams to simplify workflows,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience across Procurement and related enterprise leadership roles.
• 7+ years of people leadership in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience owning a portfolio of Procurement technology platforms and roadmaps.
• Strong ability to influence senior executives across multiple functions.
• Experience with M&A diligence, integration, and synergy governance.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Procurement operating model and governance across strategy, process and technology.
• Own the Procurement technology portfolio, platform architecture and value realization.
• Lead end-to-end procurement process ownership from intake to supplier exit.
• Build an insight-led Procurement function with data-driven decision support.
• Drive M&A diligence and integration enablement for enterprise transactions.
• Govern the Procurement transformation portfolio and COE excellence.
