Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking an Associate Vice President of Procurement Center of Excellence to lead enterprise capabilities powering procurement performance across technology, processes, data and governance.

You will own the procurement tech portfolio, end-to-end process strategy, and analytics to enable faster, better decisions across sourcing, contracting and supplier management. The role requires leadership across multiple functions, driving scalable solutions, and ensuring investments deliver

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive experience across Procurement and related enterprise leadership roles.
7+ years of people leadership experience, including building and retaining multidisciplinary teams.
Experience owning a portfolio of Procurement technology platforms and converting strategy into roadmaps and realized value.
Strong product-management and portfolio-management capability, including prioritization and adoption.
Experience with M&A diligence, integration, separation, and supplier/contract analysis.

Responsibilities

Architect and evolve the Procurement operating model across organization, process, technology, data and governance.
Own the Procurement technology portfolio strategy, roadmap, governance and value realization.
Lead end-to-end process ownership for procurement lifecycle, including standards, methodologies and controls.
Build an insight-led Procurement function with data products and executive views for decision support.
Lead M&A diligence, integration enablement and post-transaction value realization.
