Qualifications

  • One year of specialized experience at GS-14 or equivalent in the private or public sector.
  • Executive leadership and advanced operations acumen with senior leadership interaction.
  • Direct long-term strategy for industrial operations to meet readiness goals.
  • Experience leading large, multi-tiered organizations (>1,000 personnel).
  • Direct enterprise human capital strategies for a massive workforce.
  • Represent the command to SES/Flag Officers and partners to justify resources.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Executive Director of SIMA Norfolk with delegated authority for strategy and readiness.
  • Direct long-term strategy for I-level maintenance and P2P readiness goals.
  • Oversee program execution to raise Sailor technical expertise through fleet support.
  • Manage multi-million-dollar portfolio using PPBE to forecast funding needs.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, workforce shaping, and retention programs.
  • Advocate for facility resources, investments, and modernization.
  • Coordinate training of Sailors by civilian master technicians for trades.
