UVA Health seeks an executive-level leader to oversee ambulatory programs across Primary Care, Pediatric Services, and Specialty Care, ensuring timely access to care, operational efficiency, patient safety, and fiscal integrity.

The role directs day-to-day operations across multiple outpatient clinics, manages budgets and KPIs, and partners with physician leaders, nursing, and management to drive service-line growth while maintaining HIPAA and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5 to 7+ years of progressively responsible ambulatory/outpatient or hospital operations leadership, including 3+ years in multi-site leadership.
• Experience in managing operations in pediatrics and/or specialty clinics preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple outpatient clinics delivering in person and/or virtual care.
• Manage operational and capital budgets, track KPIs, and meet cost and revenue targets.
• Optimize patient scheduling, centralize registration workflows, reduce wait times, and drive satisfaction scores.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate multi-tier clinic managers, supervisors, and clinical and access support staff.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, infection control, and accreditation standards (HIPAA and state guidelines).
• Collaborate with physician and provider leaders, APPs, and executive teams to support service-line growth and strategic initiatives.
