Mercy University School of Nursing seeks a nurse practitioner with academic leadership experience who will provide operational and academic leadership to support graduate nursing education. Qualifications

• Doctorate in nursing (DNP or PhD) required.
• Minimum seven years of postsecondary teaching experience.
• Unrestricted RN licensure and NP licensure in New York State required.
• Eligibility for rank of Associate or Full Professor.
• Five years of progressive administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program directors, specialty leads, and other academic administrative roles within the graduate programs.
• Advance graduate program planning and implementation with faculty and program leaders.
• Develop and implement graduate program policies aligned with school-wide operations.
• Lead curriculum development to meet accreditation standards and evolving healthcare education trends.
• Oversee assessment, student outcomes, and licensure/certification pass rates.
• Teach a minimum of 12 credits annually.
• Serve on a twelve-month contract and perform additional duties as assigned.
