Job summary
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, College of Nursing, seeks an Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs to provide strategic leadership for master's, post-graduate certificate, and DNP programs, with an instructional faculty appointment at Associate Professor or Professor.
The role reports to the Associate Dean of Academic Programs and collaborates with specialty directors, faculty, and college leadership across campus, with primary work at Anschutz and teaching on Legacy Campus in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program; direct-entry master's acceptable.
- Master's degree in nursing; DNP or PhD required/expected for rank.
- Eligibility for unencumbered Colorado RN license.
- Demonstrated teaching, leadership, and scholarship in nursing education.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for master's, post-graduate certificates, and DNP programs.
- Ensure curricula align with accreditation, regulatory, and professional standards.
- Oversee graduate program outcomes, reporting, and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with specialty directors, faculty, and college leadership on course scheduling and resources.
- Teach within the College of Nursing and mentor junior faculty and students.
