Job summary
Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering to lead a high-performing team of technical experts who articulate the business value and technical details of Cloudflare’s ecosystem. You will partner with sales leadership and bridge technical sales with product engineering to drive revenue and customer success.
You will oversee strategic planning, people management, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Sales to deliver data-driven value
Qualifications
- 7+ years in technical sales of cloud computing, storage, or full-stack engineering.
- Strong knowledge of modern Web Technologies, Cloud Architecture, AI/ML, and distributed serverless platforms.
- Proven leader capable of guiding technical teams and influencing executive stakeholders.
- Resume/CV highlighting leadership and technical architecture experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term technical sales strategy with regional leaders.
- Directly manage and mentor a team of Solution Architects.
- Collaborate with executive leadership, Product Management, and Marketing to align goals.
- Manage annual budget and resource allocation for the team.
- Engage with C-Level executives at strategic customer accounts.
- Oversee feedback loop between field and product teams to refine roadmaps.
