Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Security Architecture to lead the design, governance, and enforcement of the company’s security architecture strategy. You will align security architecture with business goals, regulatory obligations, and risk appetite while partnering with CISO and technology leadership to drive scalable defense capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree in business administration or related discipline preferred.
• 12+ years of directly-related or relevant experience with 8+ years in a managerial capacity, preferably in information security.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, CRISC, CISM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise security architecture vision and multi-year roadmap.
• Align security architecture with corporate strategy, digital transformation, and modernization initiatives.
• Establish target-state architectures with Zero Trust principles with other leaders.
• Translate risk appetite into enforceable architectural guardrails.
• Develop and maintain standardized reference architectures for Cloud, IAM, data protection, network segmentation, and application security.
• Ensure security-by-design in SDLC and platform engineering.
• Chair or co-chair SARB and govern architecture artifacts across global units.
• Define security architecture review processes and risk exception workflows.
