Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Principal Architect, Security Architecture to define and govern enterprise cybersecurity architecture across Cloud, Data, AI, and SaaS. You will lead strategic security decisions, collaborate with engineering teams, and translate business risk into practical security standards and patterns.

The role requires strong cross-domain expertise, experience with modern cloud platforms, and a deep understanding of Zero Trust and threat modeling.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity architecture or related tech disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Azure with practical AWS/GCP experience.
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture and identity-centric security.
• Ability to communicate complex technical subjects to engineers, architects, executives, risk professionals, and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned with business strategy and risk appetite.
• Lead security architecture reviews for strategic platforms, cloud environments, and data environments.
• Define security architecture patterns across cloud, data, API, identity, and AI security.
