Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Security Architecture to lead the definition, governance, and enforcement of enterprise-wide security architecture strategy. You will align cybersecurity with business strategy, regulatory obligations, and risk appetite, overseeing architecture standards, ARB governance, and integration with EA, Cloud, Data, AI, Infra, and Apps.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of relevant experience with 8+ years in management, preferably in information security.
• Strong background in enterprise security architecture, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise security architecture vision and multi-year roadmap.
• Align security architecture with corporate strategy and digital modernization.
• Establish target-state architectures including Zero Trust principles.
• Translate risk appetite into enforceable architectural guardrails.
• Develop standardized reference architectures for Cloud, IAM, data protection, network, and application security.
• Lead SARB and governance of architecture artifacts across global units.
• Ensure security-by-design in SDLC and platform engineering models.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance on regulatory impacts.
• Drive automation of control validation and policy-as-code enforcement.
• Lead a global team of security domain architects and report risk posture to executives.
