Cencora seeks a Principal Architect, Security Architecture to define and govern cybersecurity architecture across cloud, data, IAM, AI, and platform security. You will translate business needs into pragmatic security patterns, guiding cross-domain decisions and reducing risk enterprise-wide.

This role operates at enterprise scale, partnering with engineering, risk, and governance teams to modernize security, emphasize Zero Trust, and align with technology strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, or related fields.
• Experience designing security solutions for large, complex enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, identity, data protection, and threat modeling.
• Ability to translate requirements into architecture and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned with strategy.
• Lead security architecture reviews for platforms, cloud, and data environments.
• Define cloud security patterns and integrate security into IaC and pipelines.
• Collaborate on data & AI security, identity, and zero-trust patterns.
• Partner with engineering to deliver secure applications and APIs.
• Drive architecture decisions, risk assessments, and documentation.
