Job summary

Guidehouse seeks an Employee Relations Consultant Leader to head a team delivering strategic, risk-informed ER support to business leaders and HR partners across the organization. You will ensure consistent guidance on performance concerns, misconduct, policy interpretation, and workplace risk management.

Reporting to the Director, Employee Relations, you will develop the team, align consulting standards, and partner with Investigations and Legal teams to balance advisory and escalation needs in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related HR experience.
• Significant experience in Employee Relations, HR, Labor Relations, or Employment Practices.
• Knowledge of federal and state EEO laws.
• Experience leading teams in large, global, matrixed organizations.
• Strong advisory experience on performance issues, misconduct, policy application, and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Employee Relations Consultants across segments or regions.
• Provide consistent, high-quality guidance on workplace matters.
• Partner with Legal, HRBPs, and centralized investigations functions.
• Develop standards for intake, consultation, and case management.
• Escalate high-risk issues and manage sensitive leadership situations.
