General Motors is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Early Career Programs to lead the coordination of internship, co‑op, and track programs across the United States. The role focuses on strategy development, operational execution, and cross‑functional partnership to deliver a cohesive intern experience.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in program management, with demonstrated success in scaling processes and engaging with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• 6+ years of project management experience across multiple workstreams and functions.
• 6+ years working with early career/co- op/college/university programs.
• Experience translating business challenges into solutions.
• Strategic, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience designing and scaling regular insights for a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience engaging directly with executive‑level clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and strategic initiatives across the Early Career Programs Team.
• Partner with business leaders to define strategy and build roadmaps and execution plans.
• Drive consistency across the internship experience across multiple US locations.
• Ensure clear connection between strategy and operations to meet goals.
• Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional partners to identify process improvements and create solutions.
• Use quantitative and qualitative methodologies to drive program improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Help build and develop training for intern managers within assigned functions.
• Help design intern project plan deliverables.
• Partner with stakeholders to create smooth onboarding and offboarding for interns, Track Participants and Co‑Op students.
• Drive connectivity between experiences and GM relationships through events.
