Job summary

Dentsu in New York is seeking an Associate Director, Digital and Video Investment to lead daily investment and activation across digital, programmatic, and national video media for assigned client accounts. You translate client objectives into tactical recommendations, oversee negotiations, and ensure campaigns meet goals.

You will manage a team, develop talent, oversee planning, activation, optimization, and reporting, and steward budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of relevant media investment experience across video, digital, and programmatic buying.
• Proven experience managing investment or activation teams and developing talent.
• Strong knowledge of linear TV, streaming, and digital channels including direct and programmatic buying.
• Proficiency with DSPs, ad servers, analytics and reporting dashboards, and Excel/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead investment strategy across linear TV, streaming, online video, and programmatic channels aligned with client objectives.
• Oversee national video and digital negotiations and partner selection to maximize value.
• Manage campaign setup, activation, pacing, optimization, and reporting with QA oversight.
• Build trusted client relationships, manage expectations, and communicate results clearly to various stakeholders.
• Lead daily team workflow, coach direct reports, and foster accountability and development.
