Job summary

University of Washington Continuum College seeks a Senior Director of Online Learning to scale online and hybrid education across the UW system. You will lead design, media production, and instructor development while coordinating with marketing, student support, and academic units to deliver high-quality experiences for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in instructional design, learning sciences, education or other relevant field.
• Five or more years of experience leading a faculty-focused team (e.g., instructor development, instructional design).
• Experience launching and growing an online education unit within a university setting.
• Strong analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to use data to make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance Continuum's strategy for online and hybrid education.
• Guide strategic planning, prioritization, and resource allocation across the online learning portfolio.
• Lead multi-million-dollar budget planning, resource forecasting, and performance reporting.
• Build and sustain collaborative partnerships with UW schools, colleges, and academic units.
