Job summary

Yellowstone Landscape is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead field crews, manage high-end client portfolios, and drive landscape projects from planning to execution. This role operates as a field-based liaison, ensuring top-tier service while mentoring account managers and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will oversee budgets, assist with sales bids and contract negotiations, and support branch leadership in strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Turfgrass or related major preferred.
• Five to seven years of prior experience with a professional landscape management firm.
• Advanced plant knowledge is key.
• Someone who loves a challenge and can handle budgets and staffing.
• Ability to converse with diverse stakeholders including crews, boards and executives.
• Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop maintenance and snow crews to work efficiently and safely.
• Manage teams using industry technology to schedule, track hours and control budgets.
• Serve as main point of contact for high-end clients and portfolios; meet proactively.
• Design and propose landscape improvements.
• Assist sales in winning new work and contract negotiations.
• Support Branch Manager with P&L reporting and budgeting.
• Coordinate with Irrigation, Fert/Spray, Safety and Field Support teams to ensure seamless workflow.
• Supervise Superintendents and mentor other Account Managers.
