Job summary

ATCS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Practice Builder in Newport News, VA, to lead business development for Land Development Engineering. This leadership role focuses on growing the Land Development footprint in the Hampton Roads region by winning projects with new private-sector clients.

The ideal candidate will build relationships, pursue opportunities, market offerings, and develop proposals while overseeing site development projects and managing staff. Travel is occasional as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Land Planning, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Demonstrated history of technical expertise in residential, commercial, industrial, or institutional land development engineering.
• Professional licensure preferred.
• Existing strong relationships with private-sector builders, developers, landowners, and local agencies.
• Strong communication and time management skills with the ability to oversee staff, projects, and multiple priorities.
• Expert in land development and permitting processing in Hampton Roads jurisdictions; experience in site development design and managing design staff.
