Job summary

The Land Acquisition Manager at M/I Homes identifies, evaluates, negotiates, and secures land opportunities to drive growth in the Indiana market. You will manage the acquisition process from initial feasibility through closing, coordinating with senior leaders to meet financial and development goals.

You will build relationships with landowners, brokers, and municipalities across Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Morgan, and Shelby counties, conducting underwriting, LOIs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate or civil engineering is required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in real estate acquisitions (residential preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with landowners, brokers, developers and municipalities.
• Sources and acquires land for development in the Indiana Market (multiple counties).
• Negotiate purchase price, terms, contingencies, deposits and closing dates.
• Prepare land acquisition packages for presentation and corporate approval.
• Underwrite projects and generate LOIs; manage transaction details through closing.
