M/I Homes, Inc. in Indiana seeks a Land Acquisition Manager to identify, evaluate, and secure land opportunities aligned with growth objectives.

You will manage the acquisition process from initial identification through due diligence, entitlement coordination and closing to meet financial and market requirements. Responsibilities include developing relationships with landowners, brokers, and municipalities; sourcing land across the Indiana Market including Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or civil engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in real estate acquisitions (residential a plus).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate land opportunities.
• Negotiate purchase terms, contingencies, deposits, and closing dates.
• Prepare acquisition packages for corporate approval with VP contributions.
• Underwrite projects and generate LOIs.
• Manage transaction details including deadlines and contingencies.
• Assist with entitlements and CMA analyses.
• Develop and maintain land contact lists and market knowledge.
• Collaborate with land team and legal/title groups.
• Travel as required to property sites and meetings.
