You will own transactions from initial identification through contract execution and closing, driving growth for the division with a focus on profitability and risk management. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–7 years of experience in land acquisition or real estate, and demonstrates strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, Engineering, or equivalent years of experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive land acquisition, development, real estate, or homebuilding experience.
• Ability to independently manage complex transactions and make sound business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue land acquisition opportunities aligned with objectives and demand forecasts.
• Lead negotiations with landowners, brokers, developers, attorneys, and others regarding purchase agreements and terms.
• Evaluate opportunities through financial analysis, due diligence reviews, and risk assessments.
• Structure transactions to maximize profitability while minimizing financial and operational risk.
• Coordinate due diligence and entitlement, environmental, engineering, and legal reviews.
• Prepare and present acquisition recommendations to senior leadership for approval.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, landowners, and industry professionals.
• Manage transactions through contract execution, approval processes, and closing activities.
• Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
• Support long-range land planning and growth initiatives.
• Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase goodwill and profit.
