Job summary

DRB Homes is seeking a Land Acquisition Lead to drive the execution of the division's land acquisition strategy in Addison, TX. You will identify opportunities, negotiate land deals, and manage due diligence to support growth across divisions.

In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with landowners, developers, brokers and regulators while coordinating with Entitlements and project teams to secure regulatory approvals and timely closings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 5+ years in homebuilding or land development.
• Strong negotiation and contract skills.
• Knowledge of local, county, state, and federal land use regulations.
• Experience with due diligence and LOIs.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for land and lot acquisition.
• Negotiate and finalize land contracts to meet company goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with land developers, brokers, and owners.
• Draft LOIs and analyze land development proformas.
• Coordinate with Entitlements group to secure regulatory approvals.
• Monitor market trends and provide periodic reports.
• Maintain documentation and schedules for acquisitions.
