Job summary

Baker Group in the United States seeks an HR Learning & Development Business Partner to lead strategic learning initiatives, partnering with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and design effective development solutions.

You will develop curricula, deliver digital training within an LMS, and measure learning outcomes, blending instructional design with leadership development and onboarding for a high‑visibility organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in L&D, talent development, instructional design, organizational development, corporate training, or related discipline.
• Experience as an L&D business partner or internal learning consultant supporting leaders and business teams.
• Significant experience designing and developing digital/e-learning courses and hands-on experience publishing and managing content within an LMS.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, performance consulting, and learning evaluation.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder learning projects with competing priorities.
• Experience facilitating instructor-led and virtual learning programs.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on performance needs and learning solutions.
• Develop learning strategies, curricula, initiatives across leadership, onboarding, technical.
• Align learning with talent management and org dev priorities.
• Manage learning initiatives from needs assessment to evaluation.
• Design and develop engaging ILT, virtual, blended and digital learning.
• Translate content into courses, job aids, videos, simulations.
• Ensure quality, branding, accessibility and consistency.
• Maintain and update learning content; LMS publishing and content management.
• Manage LMS courses, curricula, paths, enrollments, completions.
• Troubleshoot LMS issues with tech teams.
• Produce LMS reports and analyze learning effectiveness.
• Facilitate ILT/virtual sessions; adapt to audiences.
• Coach SMEs and leaders to facilitate training.
• Establish and monitor learning effectiveness metrics.
• Analyze data to improve programs and inform investments.
• Stay current on learning tech and AI in L&D.
