Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Learning & Development Senior Manager, Assurance, to lead strategy, design, development and implementation of technical and functional learning for client-facing Assurance teams. This role partners across portfolios to build a readiness model, combining relationship-building with an entrepreneurial spirit in a dynamic firm-wide learning ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years in Learning and Development or equivalent in a large organization, preferably in professional services.
• 4+ years leading teams and building high-performing, inclusive cultures.
• Experience designing and implementing learning strategy and operations for technical content.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and multi-modality curriculum design.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems and online/virtual training platforms.
• Excellent written/spoken communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop firm-wide learning strategy and implementation plans for the assigned client group.
• Grow relationships with service line leadership and stakeholders; identify learning needs.
• Design and evolve the firm-wide learning curriculum portfolio with SMEs.
• Create annual plans for curriculum portfolio and manage milestones.
• Lead curriculum design teams and oversee delivery and evaluation.
• Develop people through coaching, mentoring and training; foster high performance.
• Oversee curriculum operations including budgeting, resources, facilitators and vendors.
• Partner with Learning and People teams to standardize approaches across initiatives.
