Job summary

EECO is seeking an experienced sales professional to grow industrial market sales in the Tidewater region of Virginia, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager from our Norfolk, VA branch. The role emphasizes developing new opportunities while supporting existing accounts with expert knowledge of electrical and industrial automation products.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering (or equivalent experience), strong CRM skills, and a proven track record in B2B industrial sales.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; will consider equivalent work experience in Electrical/Industrial.
Experience with B2B sales to industrial markets is desirable.
Technical competency in industrial automation and electrical components/systems preferred.
Ability to work in industrial environments (outdoors, non-climate-controlled).
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience using CRM software.

Responsibilities

Leads solution development addressing customer needs from fact finding through proposal.
Develops sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
Establishes professional relationships in assigned customer accounts.
Coordinates involvement of other staff to meet account objectives and expectations.
Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings.
Performs other duties as required to succeed in role.
