Job summary

Mars Snacking seeks a Senior Manager for Key Account/Customer Development to lead strategic plans and growth across Kroger local retail partnerships. You’ll develop multi-year customer business plans, analyze market data, base assumptions, and ROI on trade insights while coordinating with Mars sales teams to optimize distribution, shelf space, and promotions.

Qualifications

• 5 years of CPG account management or marketing experience in a retail setting.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to drive 50% of the time.
• Experience with syndicated data sources: IRI, Nielsen, etc.
• Experience in value channel, key account management, category management, shopper insights, or broker management within CPG preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Operating Plans: develop 3-year customer business plans including trends, base assumptions, market share, NSV, operating profit and ROI on trade insights.
• Developing Strategies: establish sales strategies across Kroger local retail sites with Mars teams to manage product distribution, merchandising, shelf space, and promotions.
• Customer/Broker Relationship Management: liaise with Kroger entities, broker parties, and Mars teams to streamline go-to-market strategies, forecast accuracy, order fulfillment, and customer scorecards.
• Innovation: translate customer vision into winning propositions and develop innovation pipelines with internal Marketing teams.
