Job summary

Hoyt Archery Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Junior Buyer responsible for procuring supplies, materials and services to maximize value. You will use production forecasts to create purchase orders, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and enter orders into the ERP system.

You will coordinate with Accounts Payable and Receiving to resolve invoice discrepancies. The role supports production and works with Engineering on new products.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business or related field required.
• B.S. degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain management and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Order and timely delivery of products and services; create POs from forecasts.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Review requisitions and place POs for non-inventory needs.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Receiving to resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Engineering on new product design and supplier sources.
