Job summary

NTT Data is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager / Application Transition Lead to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA, with remote work and East Coast hours preference. The role focuses on overseeing complex IT application transitions within a large-scale acquisition carve-out, ensuring clear ownership, paths to implementation, and ongoing operations.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate across IT and business stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure readiness

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading or coordinating complex IT application initiatives, projects, programs, or portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Application Transition Leadership: serve as the primary IT lead and point of accountability for an assigned portfolio of application transition and implementation initiatives.
• Project & Program Oversight: partner with Project Managers and Business Leads to maintain visibility into plans, risks, dependencies, and IT actions.
• Application-Level Readiness & Delivery: assess readiness across the transition lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, security, data, testing, deployment, and KT.
• Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination: coordinate across business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and third parties.
• Vendor & Third-Party Coordination: support vendor engagement, SOWs, and delivery coordination.
• Portfolio Governance & Executive Reporting: maintain portfolio visibility and concise executive-level status updates.
