Job summary

GuideWell is seeking a Senior Director to lead IT Strategic Sourcing for the Enterprise. Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, this role partners with Sr.

Leaders to translate business strategy into category-specific sourcing and supplier management strategies for software, services, cloud, and infrastructure. The role requires deep IT vendor knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with procurement, IT security, and architecture teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years' related work experience in IT sourcing/procurement.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing large-scale IT contracts with major technology vendors.
• 5+ years’ direct supervisory/management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or related equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT sourcing strategies with CIO and IT leadership.
• Identify supplier requirements and opportunities in IT/vendor market.
• Lead multiple category teams to standardize sourcing processes and contracts.
• Communicate risks, milestones and resourcing needs to stakeholders.
• Evaluate TCO, licensing models, and cloud/infrastructure terms for IT contracts.
• Lead sourcing, negotiation and lifecycle management of large IT contracts.
• Assess vendor capabilities, manage vendor risk, and collaborate with IT security/architecture.
• Standardize procurement processes for projects.
• Oversee legal coordination to ensure contract completeness and compliance.
• Drive procurement governance to enable best-value vendor selections.
• Lead Supplier Relationship Management focusing on performance, risk, and development.
• Develop and evolve procurement processes and value proposition.
