Job summary

Eversource seeks a Business Analyst to bridge IT and business teams, translating business needs into functional requirements and collaborating with IT partners to implement solutions.

The role supports IT strategy, process optimization, and roadmap development with emphasis on stakeholder engagement and agile practices. A Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years in business analysis are preferred, utilities experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of demonstrated business analysis experience.
• Experience in the utility industry is a plus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Leads meetings between IT and the business area and communicates decisions.
• Captures and documents business requirements and user stories for various project methodologies.
• Develops IT roadmaps and evaluates process improvements.
• Supports procurement activities (RFP/RFI) and statements of work.
• Ensures solutions meet business needs and aligns with strategic goals.
